Laggan Stained Glass is part of the family run company Laggan Locks and Stained Glass which is owned by George and Liz Moncrieff.

The Stained Glass part of the business operates from a purpose built studio in the grounds of their house situated in Hains Lane, Marnhull which is a pretty vilage in the heart of the attractive Blackmore Vale.

Liz is a qualified teacher and has trained in the design and manufacture of stained glass items using the traditional lead method, foil (often referred to as tiffany) and fusing which she particularly enjoys as the results can be somewhat unpredictable!

Liz works mostly to commission and has recently finished a project working in partnership with the School Council of Arch Bishop Wake Primary School to create a window in the hall of their newly built school in Blandford. Liz has described this work as great fun and especially enjoyed the enthusiasm of the young people involved who made a visit to the Studio to inspect the work in progress. Liz is happy to discuss any project and welcomes visitors to the Studio by appointment.
